 Hey dear Christianites! Im 27 years of age, and right now im doing my mastersproject in anthropology at the University of Oslo.

My master is about Christiania, and how the christianites respond to the increased policeactivity surrounding pusherstreet after the shoot-out last year. I have already been in Christiania from early february until the end of march, and now im coming back for the second part of my project. My project will end in late June.

My paper will shed light on some of the issues surrounding the prohibitionpolicies and some of the problems that arises when the police use increased resources. Since Christiania is unique in regards to the open-air cannabismarket, I feel that my study will be of interest for the community as a whole since it will show how you, the christianites and the people who live with it everyday, experience and deals with the problems that arises.

I want to get your point of view, and how you incorporate it into your daily lives. All my collected data will be anonymized and treated discretly, and I won’t publish anything without consent from the people whom it may concerne. I will publish my study during the summermonths of 2018.

I have been so lucky to get the accomodation in the CRIR-house for the entire month of May, for which I am very grateful! Im more than happy to welcome visitors during my stay in the CRIR-house, so just stop by for a cup of coffee if you want! When im not in the CRIR-house you will probably find me hanging out at the local spots trying to meet the people who live here.
